What is Idea Mornings?

Idea Mornings is a monthly gathering of thought leaders, entrepreneurs, business leaders, artists, scholars, and community activists in Louisville. On the last Friday of each month, we invite a distinguished speaker to give a short talk aimed to spark new ideas for the community. Our hope is that these ideas from smart people in Louisville will turn into new opportunities for innovation.

The concept of Idea Mornings was inspired by Creative Mornings, but goes further than focusing on creative types. Rather Idea Mornings takes a more global perspective in looking at ideas. The event is a mash between Steven Johnson’s “Where good ideas come from” and TEDx talks
